Twosies. Cream. Navy. Gold accents. Bows. Bedhead. These are some of my favorite things. But my two favorite things? Simplicity and happiness. And all of these things combined generate just that! Do you see why I might get caught wearing this #ootd on repeat? (No shame.)
This ensemble is one of my favorite things in my closet. Whether I’m headed to work, out to run errands or out to dinner–I just throw on some heels, flats or sandals and I’m ready for anything! That just sounds too easy. (It is!) The skirt’s A-line hem gives it a comfortable and sophisticated girly look. If you’re like me, you’re pretty picky about lengths. When you find a skater skirt that’s flattering, long enough to wear to work, but not too long to wear out and about–you’re winning. ALSO, if you can dress up a sweatshirt for work–definitely winning. The quilted pattern gives this co-ord such great texture that will make you do a double-take and you’re like, OMG I need that–which is clearly what happened. If it wasn’t for the stitching–well, it just wouldn’t be the same. And this cream color is just my type of chic.
Like having a classic pair of black heels, having a pointed-toe navy pair is a must. (With bows is even better.) These Tory Burch favorites are the answer to most of my getting-ready-in-the-morning problems. These shoes have been well-loved–meanwhile, I’m just trying to extend their lifespan so they can continue completing my #ootds.
This gold link necklace is the perfect go-to. I try to mix up my jewelry but rarely succeed–I don’t think there is anything wrong with just wearing your basics that you love.
As for my hair… well, #iwokeuplikethis. Sometimes you just gotta wake up, spritz some hairspray and go.
You may (will most likely) catch me wearing this again as separates, mixing and matching, in the winter with tights–possibilities are endless really. Having that one (or few) go-to outfit(s) is the best.
