Shades of green, graffiti and fringe

The fringe purse that inspired the dress that inspired the shoes that inspired the neckerchief that inspired the hat that inspired the last minute necklace. Isn’t it nice when an outfit comes together like that?

We all know it doesn’t always happen so easily–in fact, getting ready for anything can sometimes be the most frustrating part of your day. (Don’t sweat it.)

Whenever I make it to the Kentucky Derby or #NYFW, you may catch me in this number for an afternoon. Each piece of this #ootd has its own little somethin’ somethin’ and is simple in its own way. The white dress could easily be worn on its own with no accessories and still be a statement piece. The tassels on the shoes complement the fringe purse, just as the necklace and scarf complete each other. And when you have a hat to tie it all together–wear the hat. (You can always take it off!) What would this outfit be without a bold red lip? I don’t really want to know.
