Anti color? Anti pop? Rihanna’s collection was definitely as experimental as her new Anti album. @BadGalRiri’s got a way of wowing you… one way or the other. But she shines bright like a diamond and we love her anyway. #Gamechanger.
During #NYFW, I check Instagram like every five seconds to keep up with everything from the street to the runway to backstage moments (#backstageboomerang). Heaven forbid should I miss a moment…! When I saw photos from @BadGalRiri‘s collection, #FentyxPuma, I naturally started scrolling the hashtag feed. It looked enchanting, majestic, dark and urban and somehow inspiring. Gigi made a white painted patch of hair look beautiful and I couldn’t help but wonder what story she was telling, and the over-sized clothes galore looked delightfully comfortable. I just wanted to touch the velvet coming down the runway.
The something-like-streetwear-inspired collection, that Rihanna says you’d find the Addams family wearing to the gym, is certainly dramatic on the runway, but who wouldn’t want to wear the over-sized velvet zipup or cozy up in the over-sized hoodie on the streets? After all, lampshading is in. Are you sensing an over-sized theme here, btw?
