I am currently battling a sore throat, serious sinus congestion, cough and all that jazz (no fun!). I fall asleep to my ‘sleep playlist’ every night, but I rely on it even more when I just need to cuddle up and have a nap.
Music is a scientifically backed way to help you fall asleep faster. I have fallen asleep to music for as long as I can remember. If you haven’t figured it out by now, my mood sets the mood for my music. Songs I consider good for a sleep playlist are soothing, low key and quiet the mind–meaning they don’t interrupt your sleeping pattern. These are songs I would also consider good for a rainy day, sultry mood or just straight chillin’ (like in this posts featured image, which you can shop the perfect romper in this recent post).
My SLEEP playlist is accessible on Spotify here. But here are my favorites that I find myself adding to the queue to fall asleep to–starting with my absolute number one!
Search and Destroy — Sanders Bohlke
Shyer — London Grammar
Little Do You Know — Alex & Sierra
Dorado — The Last Bison
How Long Will I Love You — Ellie Goulding
(and also my future wedding song, I am pretty sure)
