Stocking stuffers have always been one of my favorite things. They are the most anticipated for my family because it’s not just what kicks off Christmas morning for us–but it’s where we come together before anything else. We get our coffee, hot cocoa, take too-early-morning-pics on the couch with the pup (because momma wants them), wait for brother to wake up and prep for the day while my sister and I pretend we aren’t anxious at all.
Before we grab presents under the tree, we start with our stockings–which are never filled with senseless “filler” things. They have always been full of meaningful, useful and thoughtful surprises that are things we will use and enjoy–which is the inspiration behind these stocking stuffers and gift ideas.
Here are some of my gift ideas for stocking stuffers this year!
What girl doesn’t like a nice pair of socks!? Knit, cashmere, fuzzy, athletic — I have ALWAYS gotten excited when I’ve been gifted socks. And stockings are the perfect place for them (especially last minute!). I am totally into Look By M (shop via Scout Boutique for all my Asheville people)–throw in a beanie and scarf while you’re at it (pictured above). Shop Anthropologie and Free People. My favorite athletic socks are Nike!
2. Candle + Matches
I am usually burning two soy candles in my apartment at all times. I like really clean smelling candles and during the holidays–my favorites are Winter White or Woodfire by Illume and DEFINITELY Frasier Fir by Thymes. I’m obsessed with these zodiac sign matchboxes by The Social Type! Such a simple way to personalize a gift. For my Asheville peeps, shop them local via Duncan and York.
3. Sleep Mask
Sleep masks were always one of those things I wanted to be into but just wasn’t sure what to buy–I always wondered if it would actually make a difference and I didn’t see the point. And then I discovered sleep masks by Sleep Swag! The night time masks with a unique design that block out light, don’t dent your hair and are made in the prettiest of patterns and softest of fabric for a naturally delightful night’s sleep! Shop Sleep Swag.
4. Intentional Wear (Essential Oils)
Help your person discover their Spirit Animal! Essential oils can be tricky–it’s easy to question the authenticity behind a brand or product. I always did! Until I was introduced to Rootfoot. This was when I stopped saying BS and fell in love with essential oils–better known as Intentional Wear–and their Spirit Animal™ collection (I have Eagle!). Once you experience oils by Rootfoot, you’ll never go back or want anything else. Ever. Again.
5. Lint Roller
Aka Flint Roller! Aka my favorite thing in the world–in case you didn’t catch it from this post. This isn’t just any lint roller. It’s the best stocking stuffer and most functional–simultaneously adorable–thing you can throw in anyone’s stocking that they’ll LOVE. Shop any and every color and shop Meet Flint.
6. Rose Water Spray
I had no idea what rose water was and then I had no idea what the significance of it was UNTIL I USED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND LITERALLY FELT IT ENLIVEN MY SPIRIT AND NOURISH MY SOUL IMMEDIATELY. Whew, okay–glad I got that off my chest. I am begging you, please just let everyone in your life experience the amazingness of Rose Water Spray by Rootfoot. Please and thanks–and you’re welcome.
7. Simple and Everyday Jewelry
Little boxes of jewelry make DELIGHTFUL little stocking stuffers. My top jewelry and accessory picks this season are: these gold and minimal metals by Rachel Weisberg, these dazzling details by Noonday Collection and the Birthstone Dangle Necklace by Fox and Beaux.
8. Beauty and Self-Care Products
A girl’s favorite products on her bathroom counter are the PERFECT stocking stuffers. From hair products to lotion to skincare to fragrance, here are some of my favorite beauty and self-care products.
Don’t forget to enclose your stocking stuffers with a thoughtful and beautiful holiday card! Get inspo galore for holiday cards and holiday gift wrap from this post! XOXO
Other ideas not pictured here: Luxury Candy (like Champagne Gummy Bears) by Sugarfina, journals, notepads and anything else by Rifle Paper Co., mini bottles of champagne by Chandon, and try Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People for fun and MEANINGFUL stocking stuffers!
